Completed in 1930, the 1.1 mile Zion-Mt Carmel Tunnel in the Zion National Park Tour was an engineering marvel for access from Zion to Bryce Canyon.
Allow for delays, two-way traffic is halted whenever larger vehicles need to be escorted through the narrow tunnel. Have cameras at the ready to capture the views out the ‘windows’.
