Step into the heart of Colorado’s natural grandeur as you journey along the Pikes Peak Highway, a scenic drive that climbs to the summit of one of America’s most iconic mountains. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to stop at an array of overlooks, all of which offer stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Your journey will also take you to Crystal Creek Reservoir, a top-notch photo spot where the tranquil waters reflect the beauty of the surrounding landscape. At the mountain’s summit, you can hike part of the Barr Trail for a more complete experience of the mountaintop (though, at 13 miles, you probably won’t want to hike the whole thing).
