Suggested Start Location

  1. From Carlsbad (North): Start on National Parks Highway (US-180) southbound past White City, New Mexico. The tour will begin automatically as you continue South.
  2. From El Paso (West): Start on Route 62/Highway 180 east of El Paso. From here, continue driving east to begin the tour.
  3. From Van Horn (South): Start on Route 54 traveling northbound, away from Van Horn, Texas. The tour will automatically start as you continue traveling north.

Suggested Time

A quick drive is possible in half a day, but a full day is recommended to explore overlooks and hiking trails.
