Guide Along (“we”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our mobile apps, websites, and related services (the “Services”).

        • Name, email, phone number, and contact details.
        • Purchase and feedback information.
        • Social media data (if you choose to sign in with Facebook or Google).
      2. Collected Automatically (for more information, see section below, “How We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies”):
        • IP address, device info, browser type, OS, and interactions with the app.
        • Location data (with permission).
        • Usage patterns, session duration, crash logs, and app pages visited.
      3. From Third Parties:
        • Social media platforms (if linked).
        • Analytics and ad platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads, Firebase).
      4. Search Bar Data Collection:
        • When you use the search bar on our Services, we may collect information related to your search queries, including the terms you enter and your interactions with search results. This information may be used to improve our Site, analyze trends, and enhance your experience. 
        • We may also share search-related information with third-party service providers who assist us in processing and analyzing search queries or in delivering relevant content or advertisements.   3. Account Registration
    To access certain functionalities and features of the Services, you may be required to complete a registration process and create an account (“Account”). Customers are not asked to create or register a unique username or password with us. Instead, you will log in to the Services using your existing Google or Apple account (“Third-Party Login Credentials”).During this process, you must provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted via the Third-Party Login Credentials and any associated forms (“Registration Data”). You are responsible for maintaining and promptly updating your Registration Data as needed to ensure it remains true, accurate, current, and complete. If any information you provide is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, or if we have reasonable grounds to suspect this is the case, we reserve the right to suspend or delete your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Services (or any portion thereof).

    We may act on communications received through your Account as authenticated via Google or Apple. While we are not required to verify the actual identity or authority of a person using your Third-Party Login Credentials, we may, at our discretion, request additional verification of identity from anyone seeking access to your Account, and may deny access if such verification is unsatisfactory. If we consider your Account to be insecure or to have been used inappropriately, we may immediately suspend or cancel access to your Account without notice.

    Your Account is specific to you and may not be shared or transferred to any other person. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your Third-Party Login Credentials with Google or Apple. Any unauthorized use of your Account will be your responsibility, and you will be held liable for any harm arising from improper use or disclosure of your Account. You must not permit any other person to access the Services through your Account, and you must immediately notify us if you know or suspect that your Account has been accessed or used by any other person.

    You are advised not to access your Account from public or shared devices and to log out at the end of each session.

  4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
    We may share and disclose your information with third parties to provide our Services, support our business processes and/or fulfill the purposes for which we collected the information, including to: 

    • Service Providers: Hosting, analytics, email, payment processors.
    • Advertising Partners: For targeting or retargeting ads.
    • Legal or Regulatory Authorities: If permitted or required by law.
    • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

    Facebook and Other Social Media Platform Permissions 

    Our Services may ask you to allow data sharing and/or access through Facebook or other social media platform permissions allowing it to perform actions with your user account on such social media platform accounts and to retrieve information, including personal data, from it. This allows our Services to connect with your user account on the social network, provided by the social media platform.

  5. International Data Transfers

    • Withdraw your consent at any time. You may have the right to withdraw consent where you have previously given your consent to the processing of your personal data.

    • Access your Data. You may have the right to learn if your data is being processed by us, obtain disclosures regarding certain aspects of our processing and obtain a copy of the personal data undergoing such processing.
    • Verify and seek rectification. You may have the right to verify the accuracy of your personal data and ask for it to be updated or corrected.
    • Restrict the processing of your Data. You may have the right to restrict the processing of your data. 
    • Have your Personal Data deleted or otherwise removed. You may have the right to request the erasure of your data. 
    • Receive your Data and have it transferred to another controller. You may have the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine readable format and, if technically feasible, to have it transmitted to another controller without any hindrance.
    • Lodge a complaint. You may have the right to bring a claim before the competent data protection authority.

    You may also be entitled to learn about the legal basis for personal data transfers abroad including to any international organization governed by public international law or set up by two or more countries, and about the security measures taken by us to safeguard your data.

    Where personal data is processed for a public interest, in the exercise of an official authority vested in us or for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us, you may object to such processing by providing a ground related to their particular situation to justify the objection.

    However, should your personal data be processed for direct marketing purposes, you can object to that processing at any time, free of charge and without providing any justification. Where you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, the personal data will no longer be processed for such purposes.   7. How We Use Cookies & Other Tracking Technologies

    Our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. By using the Services, you affirm that you are at least 18 years of age or older. We are not liable for any damages that may result from any user’s misrepresentations of age. No one under the age of 13 is authorized to use our Services or share any information with us, including personal information. Under no circumstances may anyone under age 13 use the Services. Parents or legal guardians of children under 13 cannot agree to these terms on their behalf.
