✨Dinner at testas.bar.harbor , and you can’t skip a scoop of ice cream 🍦 as you stroll back along the waterfront.

✨Day 2
Early start—Acadia is calling 🏞️. Download the guidealong app 🎧 and let it do the narrating while you drive the Park Loop Road 🚗. Hike the Beehive 🐝⛰️ (short but spicy… like along the sheer cliff…) for those epic views.

✨ After a breather back at the hotel, to chill and swim, roll into blackfriarinnandpub 🍺 for happy hour—$2 oysters 🦪 taste even better after a climb.👌👌

Glacier’s Going-to-the-Sun Road is like a highlight reel of the park — waterfalls, glaciers, alpine lakes, and jaw-dropping cliffs all packed into one stretch of pavement.

And the wild part? It’s not just magical the first time. Even on our second, third, fourth, and tenth drives, we were still completely in awe. 😍

🛻 Tips for your GTTSR drive:

On busy season, start early morning or late evening to avoid traffic + snag parking at overlooks.

The road is typically open late June–mid Sept, depending on snow.❄️

Pull over often — the best views aren’t just from behind the wheel. 📸

Don’t miss Logan Pass, Hidden Lake Overlook, and Wild Goose Island. 🏝️

🚙 Driving west → east between 6 AM–3 PM? You’ll need a Vehicle Reservation (book on Recreation.gov).

✅ Driving east → west? No reservation required!

📏 Size limits apply: Vehicles over 21 ft long, 10 ft tall, or 8 ft wide aren’t allowed past Avalanche Creek.
